The
primary goal of Jardine OneSolution's Outsourcing and Managed
Services division is to help customers extract maximum value from
their IT investments. In simple terms that mean helping customers
enjoy all the business benefits of sophisticated IT systems without
the burden of management and maintenance.
To achieve these goals, OMS builds on the same foundation of
technical expertise that defines our IT support services and combines
them with some of the region's most experienced IT consulting
and operations management personnel. This gives Jardine OneSolution
the capabilities to take full responsibility for the long-term
operation of large enterprise IT infrastructures.
The core of the OMS offering is a three-part model that covers
the initial planning and design of any solution, a build and implement
component and a management and support bundle. These three interlocking
specialisations enable the OMS team to engage with the customer
at every level - from concept to business case, through implementation
- and on to management to genuinely maximise the overall return
on IT investment.
One of the hallmarks of OMS is its flexibility. Recognising that
each customer's environment is different, the solutions are geared
entirely to meeting customer demands, whether that is the management
of a few mission-critical servers, a messaging platform or a total
solution that involves taking over an organisation's entire IT
infrastructure. OMS is also entirely vendor neutral and therefore
able to recommend best-of-breed solutions - a freedom that the
big IT vendors who offer outsourcing services simply do not have.
