Carmen Tse Director, Corporate Services

Ms Tse heads the Human Resources function of the Group, overseeing its stock of talent across the region.

A remarkable Hong Kong professional herself who has been with a single organisation almost her entire career to date, Ms Tse has put her innate people skills and sharp business acumen to good use at various divisions of the company. Starting out as a fresh graduate in the Human Resources department of the Jardine Matheson Group, she then moved to its Marketing and Distribution Services division, where she was responsible for the sales, marketing and management of various premium brands and products carried by the Group in both local and regional markets. In 1996 she came to JOS, where her brief was to drive the development of customer-focused IT services.

Following a brief interlude in Corporate Communications at the holding company of the Group, Jardine Pacific, she returned to JOS in 1998 to oversee the operations of JOS mass market and office supplies department. Rich in her experience both in line and staff functions, Ms Tse later took up the management and marketing functions and helped revamp the Group's offer of procurement services by introducing a comprehensive and cost-effective supply chain model that included a single point of procurement and specially developed analytics for clients' easy management of their procurement needs through JOS.

Ms Tse was appointed to her present post in December 2006.

She holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree in Economics and Management Studies from the University of Hong Kong.
