Frederick Tan Managing Director, Southeast Asia

Mr Tan's brief is to formulate and follow through the development strategy for JOS' operations in Southeast Asia, with particular focus on Singapore and Malaysia.

A veteran of the computer industry, Mr Tan played a key role in the expansion of the technology consultancy CSA Group through the 1980s before leaving to assist in the restructuring of two other companies, one of which was subsequently listed on the Nasdaq and the other on the Singapore Stock Exchange. In 1992, he rejoined CSA as Managing Partner of its distribution business, and was later appointed as Vice President for Outsourcing and New Business Development when CSA was acquired by the IT outsourcing giant Computer Sciences Corporation.

Mr Tan took up his current post at JOS in February 2000, bringing to the role more than 25 years of experience along with a fresh determination to ensure that the Group's goal of becoming a leading IT service provider in Asia is systematically realised.

Mr Tan holds an MBA from the University of Hull (UK) and has served as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Information Technology Institute of Singapore.
